Porchlight pilot terms v1.0
One page, no long contract. Either side can stop with 24 hours' notice.
What we do
We run Facebook and Instagram ads in your own Meta ad account and build a landing page with a quote form and a texting consent box. An automated assistant texts each new quote request within about a minute, checks the basics (owns the home, service area, project, timing, budget), books into your calendar and sends reminders. You get a weekly report.
Price
- The first 3 shown estimates are free. After that, $200 per shown estimate, invoiced weekly through PayPal.
- No setup fee and no monthly fee from us during the pilot.
- Ad spend is paid by you directly to Meta; we suggest at least $35 a day.
- Texting registration and carrier fees are passed through at cost: about $61 once, then about $10 a month plus about a cent per message.
Shown estimate
The homeowner or decision-maker was at the property within 30 minutes of the booked time, or at a new time you both agreed. After each visit you tap Showed, No-show or Rescheduled. No answer within 72 hours counts as shown. Disputes within 72 hours. No-shows are never billed.
Setup
About 2 to 3 weeks from your OK, mostly the registration of the texting number under your business (A2P 10DLC), which US carriers require. We need about 30 minutes of your time over email: ad account and Facebook page access, a calendar, a few real job photos, your service area and the jobs you want, and business details for the texting registration (legal name, EIN, address, website).
Who we are
Porchlight Estimates is run by Amichay Ilan, a sole proprietor registered in Israel, HaMakabim 7, Givat Shmuel 5401307, Israel.
No guarantee
We don't promise any number of estimates, jobs, sales or revenue.
Texting consent
We text a homeowner only after they submit your quote form with its consent box checked. You won't give us phone numbers of people who did not opt in through that form; if you do, you are responsible for those messages. Every text names your business, says it comes from an automated assistant, is sent between 8 am and 8 pm in the homeowner's time zone, and honors STOP at once.
Ads
Ads run in your own Meta ad account under Meta's housing ad rules, and only after you approve them. You are responsible for your licenses and for the claims your ads make.
Each side's claims
Each of us covers the other against third-party claims caused by its own breach of these terms or of the law: you for ad content you approve, your own business and any contacts you supply; we for texts we send outside the consent, hours and opt-out rules above.
Liability
Our total liability under the pilot, including under the clause above, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost jobs. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Data
We use homeowner data only to run your pilot, never sell it, and delete our copy within 30 days after the pilot ends, after handing it to you if you ask.
Stopping
Either side can stop the pilot with 24 hours' notice by email. Shown estimates up to that point are invoiced as above.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
